Job summary

Ultra is seeking a NYC-based freelance videographer and editor who can produce, shoot, and edit high-performing short-form content at speed with potential to grow into a full-time role.

You will direct on set, translate marketing goals into repeatable content formats, shoot with DSLR and iPhone, and edit for TikTok/Reels/Shorts using CapCut, delivering platform-ready exports and multiple variants.

Qualifications

• NYC-based freelancer capable of shooting and editing high-volume short-form content.
• Experience delivering on TikTok/Reels/Shorts with strong storytelling.
• Own camera and lighting equipment; able to direct on set.

Responsibilities

• Produce and direct shoots end-to-end, from concept to final exports.
• Shoot both cinematic DSLR and native mobile content.
• Edit for short-form platforms with CapCut and fast-paced edits.
• Write hooks and captions; collaborate with Growth on frameworks.
• Stay organized, meet deadlines, and manage on-set collaboration.
