Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled video editor and motion designer to craft engaging content for digital, social, and marketing campaigns. You will edit short- and long-form footage, create 2D motion graphics, and adapt content for multiple platforms using After Effects and Premiere Pro.

You will collaborate with creative leads and cross-functional teams to tell compelling visual stories, manage multiple projects, and stay current with industry trends and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, post-production, or related field.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel showing editing, motion graphics, and storytelling across formats.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience editing live-action footage and creating motion graphics for digital, social, and marketing content.
• Knowledge of color correction, audio editing, captioning, exports, and delivery best practices.
• Understanding of storytelling, pacing, typography, animation principles, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience preparing content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and paid media.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and emerging post-production tech.
• Understanding of video production workflows, camera formats, codecs, and DAM.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Edit short- and long-form video content for digital, social, websites, and campaigns.
• Create 2D motion graphics, animated typography, titles, lower thirds, infographics, and explainers in After Effects.
• Edit interviews, testimonials, event recaps, sizzle reels, and thought leadership content with brand materials.
• Format video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, paid media, and presentations.
• Perform color correction, audio cleanup, captioning, and quality control for polished deliverables.
• Collaborate with directors, strategists, designers, and teams to translate concepts into visuals.
• Organize footage and media libraries; maintain efficient production workflows.
• Manage multiple projects with high quality and attention to detail.
• Stay updated on editing techniques, motion design trends, and AI tools.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Motion Design, Animation, or related field
