The position requires travel and collaboration with multiple teams to ensure project success. The candidate should demonstrate expert software development skills in fullstack web or TouchDesigner, plus broad familiarity with creative tools and hardware integrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in a senior creative technology role.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client-facing experience.
• Expert level software development in either fullstack web or TouchDesigner with knowledge of the other.
• Familiarity with a wide range of creative software development tools.
• Understanding of electrical/ mechanical engineering, fabrication, procurement, AV, and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Owns technical context, decisions, architecture and feasibility for integrated creative tech components.
• Leads technical decisions on projects, including vendor selection and scope.
• Acts as technical lead on large-scale exhibits and multi-component projects.
• Collaborates with production teams to develop timelines, budgets and pre-production plans.
• Performs and delegates software development, testing, and implementation tasks as needed.
• Mentors small teams and manages freelance resources.
• Contributes to conceptual development and thought leadership within the team.
