nooro is seeking a direct response strategist who can own the creative process for the next brand. You will pull data, find the angle, write the copy, brief editors, and push it until it ships, then read results to guide the next move.
This role rewards performance over hours and requires a native grasp of direct response in ecommerce and DTC. You will live in the ad library, shape hooks for formats from UGC to VSL, and translate data into winning strategies.
Somewhere out there is a direct response strategist who's sick of watching great concepts die before anyone puts real money behind them. Who knows their stuff would print if someone just handed them the budget and got out of the way.
That's who I'm hiring.
We build and scale brands. We're no strangers to spending $250k+ a day on Meta or hitting a million orders inside a brand's first year. That's just what we do. We hire killers so we can build brands that actually win. Now we've grown into another spot, and I want you running creative on the next brand.
One spot. I'm filling it now.
The job
Most places cut this work into four pieces. Strategist writes a brief, copywriter takes a pass, editor takes another, and by the time it ships the idea's been sanded down to nothing. That drives me insane.
I want one person on the whole thing. You dig through the data, find the angle, write it, brief the edit, push it till it's right, then read what happened and call the next move.
It only works if direct response is already how your brain works. Awareness levels, market sophistication, unique mechanisms, VSLs. If that's your native language, keep going. If it isn't, this one's not for you, and that's fine.
What you'll actually do?
Then go again, faster. Something hits and you're already shipping new hooks and cuts off it while the next idea's in the oven. You don't wait for a green light. You trust your read.
Who you are?
You're a direct response native first, everything else second. Show you fifty winners and you'll spot the thread running through all of them.
You've done this in ecommerce and DTC. Not adjacent to it, in it. You've watched real spend move on real funnels and you know how the machine works.
You've got taste and you can back it. Which brands are brilliant, which are torching cash, and why.
You catch the small stuff. Usually that's the whole difference.
You bet. One outlier pays for a pile of misses, so you swing instead of playing it safe for a row of fines.
You're not precious. Data kills your favorite idea, you kill it too.
And you run yourself. I'm not hovering over you and I'm not walking you through it. Take the goal, go.
The compensation
Your pay moves with what you put on the board, not the hours you sit in the chair. It works in two stages.
First 60 days (ramp):
After that:
Before you apply
This isn't a normal nine-to-five, and I'm not going to pretend it is. Nobody's counting your hours, but some weeks ask a lot, because that's what scaling an offer costs.
If clocking out at five is what you want, no judgment, it's just not this. This is for someone who wants to own something and go get the upside that comes with it.
