Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a hands-on Kitchen Leader to direct food production areas, ensuring high-quality outputs and strict sanitation standards. You will collaborate with the Executive Chef to prepare items per recipes, manage costs, and guide a team across shifts in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will oversee kitchen operations, train staff, and maintain safety compliance while promoting teamwork with other departments and supporting event catering requirements.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of progressive hotel F&B kitchen leadership or a Culinary Degree with 2+ years in hotel F&B.
• Experience in high-volume catering and fine dining environments.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the operation of food production areas.
• Assist Executive Chef in preparing items per standardized recipes.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation and safety in kitchens and storage areas.
• Manage cost controls, inventory and waste reduction.
• Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
• Lead departmental meetings and collaborate with other departments.
