Job summary

FASTSIGNS Richmond is seeking a talented Graphic Designer & Sign Production Specialist to join our team. This role blends creative graphic design with hands-on sign production and finishing in a fast-paced production environment.

The Graphic Designer & Sign Production Specialist will work with customer artwork to create, modify, prepare, print, and produce high-quality graphics and signage. Strong computer design skills and the ability to operate printers and finishing equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of graphic design and/or sign production experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create computer-generated, full-color graphics and vinyl output for printing, mounting, cutting, weeding, and application.
• Create or modify designs based on customer drawings, files, specifications, or artwork.
• Determine size, layout, typography, and arrangement of graphics based on space and production specs.
• Inspect artwork for accuracy and ensure correct materials and printer settings.
• Operate and maintain digital printers and other production equipment.
• Perform finishing operations, including laminating, mounting, trimming, and preparing materials for delivery.
