Job summary

CRI in San Francisco is seeking a Creative Services Coordinator to support design, curation, workplace strategy and marketing teams. This hybrid role requires presence in San Francisco at least 3 days per week to succeed.

You will coordinate material samples, manage the material library, assist with budgets and quotes, and participate in RFPs and vendor relations, while supporting marketing and industry outreach.

Qualifications

  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, including public speaking.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales and/or marketing within a sales team; contract furniture industry a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in interior design, architecture, marketing or related field.
  • Understanding of contract furniture specification process and pricing.
  • Has a creative eye and passion for furniture and interior design.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp and 2020CAP.

Responsibilities

  • Orders material samples and participates in finish/fabric meetings with Ancillary Curator/Designer, client, and design firm to execute final product specifications.
  • Assist Studio Resource Specialists manage CRI material library, maintaining stock and coordinating with manufacturers.
  • Assists with budget pricing, validation packages, quote requests, COM testing, furniture demo coordination and data entry.
  • Participates in industry events and marketing opportunities for CRI.
  • Assists in executing marketing opportunities, including pop-up events, social media, and marketing e-blasts.
  • Assists with Request for Proposal (RFP) coordination.
  • Maintains vendor relationships and stays current on product updates; visits showrooms and meets local reps.
  • Represents CRI as unofficial brand ambassador during industry events and meetings.
