Job summary

Jonesworks, a strategy-driven communications, marketing, and management agency in New York, seeks a Creative Producer, Social Content to join our team. The role blends ideation with hands-on production—from scripting to on-set direction.

You will shoot and edit high-quality video and photos, crafting content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, while collaborating with social and PR teams. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of photo/video experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Premiere,

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showing creative campaigns and social-first design work.
• Experience working directly with clients, talent teams, or high-profile individuals with sensitivity and discretion.
• Passionate about sports and entertainment.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop), CapCut; comfortable with Sony cameras and gimbals.

Responsibilities

• Concept, pitch, and produce content ideas for clients and our channels across short-form to long-form formats.
• Own production end to end: scripting, shot lists, briefs, scheduling, gear, on-set direction.
• Shoot high-resolution video and photo; retouch and color-grade content as needed.
• Edit and finish platform-specific content with tight turnarounds.
• Collaborate with social media managers and PR teams to align content with strategy.
• Spot compelling moments at events and shoots, pull B-roll, review edits, shape content for each platform.
• Build mood boards, treatments, and creative decks; present ideas to clients.

JONESWORKS, a strategy-driven communications, marketing, and management agency, is seeking a driven, creative, and highly organized Creative Producer, Social Content to join our New York office.The Creative Producer role combines creative and technical skill sets: coming up with content ideas for our clients and our own channels, planning and running shoots, and capturing and editing the photo and video yourself. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling and a proven ability to make compelling content across formats, from short-form social to long-form YouTube content.This is a fast-paced environment, and evenings, weekends, and travel may be required to support clients and real-time moments. We're looking for someone detail oriented, adaptable, and creative, who can go into a shoot with a plan and still pivot to tell the best story unfolding in front of them.

Core Responsibilities

• Concept, pitch, and produce content ideas that fit each client's priorities and brand, from short-form for TikTok and Instagram to longer-form for YouTube
• Own production end to end, from brief to published asset: scripting, shot lists, creative briefs, scheduling, gear, and on-set direction, usually working independently
• Shoot high-resolution video and photo, retouch and color-grade content as needed
• Edit and finish polished, platform-specific content, handling your own pre- and post production, ability to work with tight turn-around times
• Work iteratively without losing speed: take feedback, refine fast, and jump on trending moments when they genuinely make sense for the client
• Partner with social media managers and PR teams to turn editorial priorities and performance goals into social strategy
• Spot compelling social moments at events and shoots, pull B-roll, review edits, and help shape content for each platform
• Build mood boards, treatments, and creative decks, and present ideas to clients with confidence
• Manage footage archives and backups, and bring in freelancers when a project needs them
• Stay ahead of platform trends, new formats, and capture techniques, and bring a proactive, enthusiastic approach to every channel

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional photo/video experience
• Creative experience in branding, digital, or content creation, ideally with experience in PR, celebrity/talent work, or personal brand development
• A strong portfolio showing creative campaigns and social-first design work
• Experience working directly with clients, talent teams, or high-profile individuals with sensitivity and discretion
• Passionate about sports and entertainment
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (advanced Premiere and Photoshop), Canva, and short-form video editing tools like CapCut
• Comfortable with a Sony camera system and handheld gimbal
• Experience shooting live events such as activations, concerts, festivals, fashion shows, and red carpets is a plus
• After Effects, motion graphics, and color work are a plusAble to juggle multiple priorities and client needs in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
