Qualifications
- Excellent writing, spelling, grammar, and copy-editing skills.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate several crews simultaneously.
- Ability to synthesize and summarize complex information into clear segments.
- Creative presentation style and ability to showcase all resources and elements.
- Unwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standards.
- Must be available to work holidays, nights, weekends and overnights, and flexible with schedule for breaking news.
Responsibilities
- Selecting, researching, and writing content for live newscasts to support the station's brand.
- Working with reporters and photojournalists to develop highly visual stories.
- Coordinating and executing creative vision with anchors, reporters, meteorologists, photojournalists, editors, digital producers, and production staff.
- Contributing content to the station’s digital and social platforms on a regular basis.
