Job summary

The Consortium of Jewish Day Schools' YSZ High School for Girls in Queens, NY is seeking a Creative Marketing Associate who loves storytelling, design, and being a school ambassador. You will craft messages and materials that inspire families to engage with our program and share the school's story with the wider community.

You will lead design projects, manage social media, capture moments, and help run events from Open Houses to community gatherings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent).
• Proven marketing experience, preferably in a school or nonprofit setting.
• Proficiency with graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva).
• Experience managing social media and content creation across platforms.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Interpersonal skills to mentor student leaders.
• Video editing and photography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Craft inspiring stories that showcase the heart of YSZ HS, energizing current and prospective families.
• Lead design projects and coordinate marketing collateral with brand consistency.
• Capture key moments and promote them across social media and email channels.
• Oversee website updates (basic management is a plus) and curate online content.
• Collaborate on large-scale events (Open Houses, community gatherings) to shine and engage.
• Design school-branded swag to promote school spirit and community impact.
