Job summary

Belk is seeking a Hair Stylist to provide professional services for hair care in a salon setting. You will report to the Salon Manager and work with a goal-oriented team in a high-traffic mall location.

Responsibilities include meeting service and retail goals, building a client base, and maintaining professional appearance while staying current with industry trends through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current cosmetology license.
• Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed personal service and retail sales goals.
• Acknowledge the client within a reasonable time of check-in.
• Build a client base by recruiting New Request Clients and maintaining Customer Client Cards.
• Provide quality service through technical skills and recommending appropriate retail products.
• Respond professionally to customer service issues and address complaints promptly.
• Exhibit good communication skills and ongoing continuing education.
