Job summary

OpenArt, a leading AI-driven creative platform, seeks a Creative Director for Video & AI Content. You will direct, edit, and own projects end-to-end, pushing the OpenArt visual identity and storytelling to new heights across social, brand, and experimental formats.

• Raise the bar and set a high standard for all published content.

Requirements

• A real body of work. Years of professional film or video production with a portfolio you’re proud to share.
• Strong directing and editing instincts. Range, taste, and storytelling depth across formats.
• Genuine experience with AI content creation tools. Not just awareness — actual, hands-on use.
• U.S.-based, full-time in the Bay Area. This role is based out of our Bay Area office.

Nice to Have

• Experience across formats. Music videos, short films, branded content, or social-first work that connects with audiences at scale.
• Background in creator-driven or influencer content. You understand what makes content travel on social platforms.
• Experience leading creative teams. You’ve mentored directors, editors, or producers and know how to set a creative bar without micromanaging.

What You'll Do

• Own the creative vision. Drive OpenArt’s full video output — short-form social, music videos, brand stories, and whatever the moment calls for.
• Direct and edit end-to-end. Take projects from concept to final cut. You’re hands‑on, not just in the room.
• Partner cross-functionally. Collaborate closely with in-house creative directors, product, and marketing teams to translate what OpenArt is into something people feel.
• Raise the bar continuously. Set and elevate the standard for everything we put out into the world.

Compensation

• Competitive TC including base salary, bonus, and equity (based on experience).
• Meaningful equity ownership in what you build.
