Job summary

Passport Brand Design, a VML company, seeks a visionary Creative Director of Art & Design to lead a large team across packaging, print, OOH and direct mail. You will shape concept, drive brand storytelling, and ensure production-forward excellence within a Tobacco industry context.

You’ll manage long timelines, mentor designers, and collaborate with stakeholders across locations, balancing strategic vision with craft in a humane, human-first environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Creative Director experience within an agency environment or premium design studio.
• Deep expertise and a strong portfolio in packaging design across print, OOH, and direct mail.
• Thrives in a structured, production‑heavy environment with long‑term calendars and workflows.
• Exceptional presentation skills to articulate strategic context and design rationale.
• Comfort with tobacco industry accounts and willingness to travel.
• Willingness to travel periodically to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of art directors and designers, fostering creative excellence.
• Oversee conceptualization and execution of high-visibility packaging design, print, OOH, and direct mail.
• Navigate production calendars to ensure on‑time, on‑brief delivery across accounts.
• Develop compelling portfolio and case study presentations for leadership and clients.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across locations to ensure aligned creative output.
