Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a creative designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment to lead concepting and styling for a key product category.

You will partner with Merchandising, Production, GIS, Visual Merchandising and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience from concept through store execution. You will translate global trends into market-ready product, manage tech packs and fit, and select fabrics and trims to meet design and margin targets.

Qualifications

• Experience translating trends into customer-ready product.
• Ability to manage multiple seasons and deadlines.
• Strong eye for silhouette, fit, color, and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Research global markets to identify seasonal trends and inspiration.
• Develop concepts and sketches; present to leadership and partners.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Production, GIS, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing.
• Influence strategy for product area and edits to line to meet business needs.
• Partner with Production and Tech Design to create tech packs and communicate fit and quality.
• Identify sketch callouts and clearly communicate fit and aesthetic to teams.
• Select fabrics and trims to align with design vision and margins.
