Zusammenfassung

City of New York’s NYC Health Department seeks a senior design leader to oversee visual identity and project work across health campaigns. You will guide a team of designers and videographers, set strategic direction, and ensure timely delivery of high-impact collateral for diverse NYC audiences.

You will collaborate with Editorial, Digital Communications, Marketing, and Language Services to support priority health messaging and education materials, while fostering collaboration across divisions.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree plus managerial experience in business promotion or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience including managerial responsibilities.

Aufgaben

• Oversee and approve the look and feel of all design projects and requests.
• Advance the department’s mission by generating accessible, high-quality designs.
• Lead the Design group, a team of graphic designers and videographers.
• Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support to project execution.
• As a supervisor, foster productivity, development, and collaboration across the agency.
• Select and manage contracted vendors and ensure contracts are in place.
• Coordinate with Editorial, Digital Communications, Marketing, and Language Services.
• Liaise with divisions and bureaus to improve collaboration across the Health Department.
