Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team. You’ll cook, help bring recipes to life, and explore new cuisines in a fast-paced environment with fresh ingredients and top equipment.

You’ll follow production guidelines and safety procedures, experiment with flavors, and deliver high-quality meals while maintaining excellent guest service. This role offers opportunities for skill development within Aramark’s kitchen network and requires basic cooking experience and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Basic principles of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use various cooking methods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food properly adhering to safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and protect company assets.
