Aramark is hiring a Cook to help bring recipes to life with fresh ingredients in a dynamic kitchen environment. You will explore different cuisines and cooking styles while following production guidelines and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in portioning, and maintaining clean, well-organized work areas. As part of the kitchen team, you will set up stations, measure and prep ingredients, operate ovens and other equipment, and ensure strict food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines.
• Maintains food safety policies and sanitation; cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
