Job summary

You will be responsible for preparing foods, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in line with Aramark policies. A collaborative, customer-friendly attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations (handling, sanitation, storage).
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Cook using various methods for meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain good customer service and positive demeanor with guests and staff.
