Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and safety guidelines.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping.
• Safely use knives and kitchen tools.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and employ various cooking methods.
• Portion and garnish foods per guidelines.
• Store food following safety policies and sanitation rules.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive demeanor.
