Job summary

The Catholic Pro-Life Community in Dallas seeks a Communications Assistant to craft and share the mission through engaging content, photos, videos, and digital media. This full-time role is fast-paced and highly creative, closely supported by our Creative Director to maintain branding across channels.

You will help with content across social, websites, newsletters, and print materials while contributing to events and donor communications.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in communications, content creation or digital media.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred; priority consideration for bilingual candidates.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
• Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut).
• Familiarity with photography and videography equipment.
• Basic website editing experience (WordPress or similar CMS).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form video content for social media, websites, emails and ministry initiatives.
• Capture photography and video footage of activities, events, staff, volunteers for communications.
• Assist with writing content for social media, newsletters, website updates and print materials.
• Design digital and print graphics consistent with CPLC branding.
• Support website content updates and basic page creation.
• Assist with podcast and webinar production, including basic editing.
• Organize and maintain media libraries (photo/video).
• Collaborate with ministry leaders to gather stories and testimonials.
• Provide on-site communications support for events (photo/video/content).
• Support fundraising and donor communications through storytelling.
