The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of cake decorator experience, exceptional attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cake decorator or in a similar bakery role.
• Knowledge of decorating techniques (buttercream, fondant, piping).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Weekends and holidays are mandatory as they are Holiday Market's busiest times.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items according to customer requests and store standards.
• Create custom designs for birthdays, weddings, holidays, and special occasions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with baking, packaging, and displaying finished products.
• Take customer orders and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Manage inventory of decorating supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to develop new designs and seasonal offerings.
