Great American Cookies & Marble Slab Creamery in Baton Rouge is seeking a Cake Decorator to decorate cookie cakes, ice cream cakes, and specialty desserts while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
• Previous cake decorating, bakery, restaurant, or food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Decorate cookie cakes, ice cream cakes, and specialty desserts according to company standards and customer requests.
• Write personalized messages and create custom designs using icing and decorating tools.
• Prepare cakes and desserts for display and customer pickup.
• Ensure products are fresh, attractive, and meet quality standards.
• Assist customers with cake orders, design ideas, and special requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and production schedules.
• Help with baking, preparation, and other store duties as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide an exceptional guest experience.
