Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions in our bakery area. You will fill and condition the cake case and ensure freshness throughout the shift.

The role involves managing cake out-dates, processing cake orders, and maintaining icing inventory while upholding sanitation procedures. You will work closely with customers and team members, with potential to assist in deli/bakery areas.

Responsibilities

• Managing cake out-dates daily.
• Receiving and processing cake orders.
• Managing cake and icing inventory.
• Managing cake decorating station to include preparing icing's and following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stocking and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
