Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic subjects taught in the District schools, including arithmetic, grammar, reading.
• Ability to maintain orderly classroom and playground activities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts a progressive, challenging program for youth.
• Assists in registration, attendance and student information records.
• Assists in distribution of afternoon snacks and preparation of calendar.
• Maintains bulletin boards and classroom materials.
• Assists in overseeing students during activities and field trips.
• Performs routine clerical duties and support to lead teacher.
