Job summary

Greysteel is seeking a Real Estate Financial Analyst in Dallas to support asset valuation, underwriting, and market research for listings. You will prepare market reports, analyze occupancy and rent/sales data, and coordinate information for active opportunities.

The role requires strong financial modeling in Excel, Argus experience, and the ability to work with a collaborative team. A Bachelor’s or higher in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting is preferred, with experience in RedIQ considered a

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial-modeling skills, with proven background in financial modeling using Excel and other industry standard software.
• Argus experience required. Database experience a plus.
• A strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and applications.
• Ability to analyze and communicate key financial and related information.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both with individuals and a team.
• Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related discipline is preferred.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform complicated financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel.
• Prepare and maintain financial models in Excel, RedIQ, etc..
• Leverage LLM's (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to streamline processes and workflows.
• Review and analyze legal documents and third-party reports as part of the due-diligence process.
• Coordinate information and prepare reports regarding market data, occupancy data, expense analysis, aerials, maps, rent/sales comparables.
• Prepare financial or executive summaries for all active listings.
• Organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions and make recommendations.
