Zaddy Solutions in Boston and multiple locations seeks an associate attorney for Commercial Real Estate Finance to join the Global Finance practice. The role involves handling sophisticated real estate financings, due diligence through closing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex transactions.

The ideal candidate has JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, 3–6 years of CRE finance experience, and strong drafting skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3–6 years of substantive commercial real estate finance experience.
• Hands-on experience with commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans.
• Experience serving as a key member of deal teams, including managing critical aspects from due diligence through closing.
• Exposure to loan origination, loan acquisition and disposition, securitization, rating agency representation, servicing, and workouts/restructuring is valued.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.
• Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, borrowers, and market participants in commercial real estate finance transactions, including senior and mezzanine financings.
• Manage transactions from initial diligence through execution and closing, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documents.
• Advise clients on securitization, loan acquisitions and dispositions, servicing matters, and restructurings.
• Collaborate with finance, bankruptcy, and restructuring teams on complex matters.
