A Day in the Life

This field-based role is responsible for executing US Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) field inventory strategies to meet Service, Inventory, Scrap, Obsolescence, Gains and Losses (SOGL), and Freight goals. The position acts as a district liaison for inventory topics between field employees (Sales Reps, Clinical Specialists, District Managers), customers, and internal teams (Global Supply Chain, Distribution, Customer Care, Marketing, Logistics, IT), reporting directly to the US CRDN Field Inventory Analyst organization.

The ideal candidate must be analytical, results-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable to changing needs. Cross-training for the cardiovascular clinical specialist role is provided, with potential career progression into clinical roles.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing daily inventory strategies through engagement with internal and external partners.
  • Supporting inventory repositioning and managing short-dated and stagnant inventory.
  • Partnering with field teams to ensure optimal product placement for patient and customer experience.
  • Coordinating product launch activities, including Phase-In and Phase-Out processes.
  • Mobilizing inventory to address supply constraints.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Building trust and credibility with customers.
  • Analyzing data proactively to identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Communicating inventory initiatives effectively with sales teams.
Account Management:
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels at customer accounts.
  • Conducting cycle counts and managing expired or short-dated units.
  • Educating customers on inventory management processes.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with supply chain and customer service teams.
Other Duties:
  • Providing on-call support during evenings and weekends.
  • Traveling locally and occasionally overnight or long-distance.
  • Adhering to FDA regulations, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Continuously updating product knowledge and proposing process improvements.
Additional Information:

This position supports the Detroit, MI territory. Candidates should reside near Detroit and be prepared for travel (25-50%).

Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to support overnight travel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with no experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Problem-solving aptitude, strong communication skills, experience in supply chain or distribution, and system knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Salesforce, mStar).
  • Interest in growing into clinical roles.
  • Certifications like Six Sigma or APICS are advantageous.
