Job summary

SmartCrawl is seeking a hands-on Laborer to join our residential restoration team in Franklin, IN. This full-time role covers crawlspace work, waterproofing support, and foundation repair activities across Central Indiana, with daily tasks on job sites and in occupied homes.

You’ll travel with the crew, assist with encapsulation, drainage systems, and material handling, and lift 50+ pounds while maintaining safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and able to report to the Franklin office daily.
• Physically demanding work including lifting 50+ pounds.
• Willing to work in crawlspaces, basements, wet areas, and varying weather.
• Willing to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Experience in construction or related fields is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Franklin, IN office each morning before heading to job sites.
• Travel with the crew in company trucks to residential projects within about an hour of downtown Indianapolis.
• Assist with crawlspace encapsulation, basement waterproofing, foundation repair, drainage systems, vapor barriers, and related work.
• Work in crawlspaces, basements, wet areas, and tight or confined spaces.
• Use jackhammers, shovels, drills, pneumatic tools, and basic hand and power tools.
• Lift, carry, load, and move materials weighing 50+ pounds.
• Help keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Learn specialty repair techniques through hands-on mentor training.
