Job summary

Florida Mechanical Crane & Equipment, LLC. is seeking a skilled Crawler Crane Operator to join our Jacksonville team.

You will operate crawler cranes on commercial and industrial sites, performing lift plans, rigging, and precise lifts while prioritizing safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate has NCCCO Crawler Crane Operator certification, experience in field operations, and a solid understanding of load charts, rigging, and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• NCCCO Crawler Crane Operator certification is required.
• Experience operating crawler cranes in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of rigging, load charts, and lift planning.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and lift drawings.
• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a team.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate crawler cranes safely and efficiently on commercial and industrial job sites
• Perform pre-operation inspections, maintenance checks, and equipment walkarounds
• Execute precise lifts, rigging, and load placement in accordance with lift plans
• Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors to ensure safe operations
• Assist with transport, assembly and disassembly of crawler cranes
• Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, and equipment records
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards, company policies, and site-specific safety protocols
