Job summary

Harris & Bruno International (H&B) in Post Falls, Idaho, is seeking a full-time Crate Builder/Assembler to handcraft wooden crates and packaging for shipment of equipment, using power tools and reading blueprints.

This hands-on role requires carpentry experience, ability to read engineering drawings, and attention to detail; benefits include medical, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry/woodworking or construction.
• Ability to use power tools (miter saw, table saw, nail guns, staple guns & power drills, etc.) required.
• Ability to read blueprints/engineering drawings and use a tape measure, tri-square and framing square is preferred.
• Basic Math skills: addition and subtraction of fractions.
• Mechanical experience working on cars/trucks, agricultural equipment or industrial machinery is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build large wooden crates and packaging for shipment of equipment.
• Assemble company equipment using electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Work in other parts of the machine shop as needed.
