Job summary

Textron Systems: Lycoming Engines in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Crankshaft Cell Operator for the first shift. The role involves operating external and surface grinders, machining, polishing, and assembling engine components to exact specifications on-site in a full-time capacity.

You will read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure quality, perform related duties, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while documenting processes and outcomes as required by the job classification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating manufacturing machinery or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.
• Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner.
• Perform assigned work to specified quality and production standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition.
• Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual's immediate work area in a clean condition.

• Previously held a classification or a position demonstrating the ability to operate manufacturing machinery, or satisfactorily completed a company provided or outside training demonstrating some machine skills or equivalent to that required to operate manufacturing machinery.
