Amentum at Kennedy Space Center in Florida seeks an experienced equipment operator to support ground systems and heavy lifting for NASA programs. You will load, transport, and position cranes and heavy machinery, following safety protocols within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities include crane operation, load securing with chains/slings, and safety checks on forklifts and aerial platforms. A valid driver’s license and flexibility for travel/shift work may be required.

The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.
Be able to operate, generally maintain all types of light and heavy equipment, both diesel and gasoline engine powered.

Pay starts at $38.51. Final pay will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
