Paycom - ATS located in Beaumont, TX, seeks an experienced Heavy Haul/Rigging Assistant to support crane operations. You will assist with crane setup, equipment maintenance, rigging techniques, and safe load lifting, while also handling vehicle inspections and equipment maintenance tasks.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of heavy haul and rigging experience, and a valid CDL Class A license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of Heavy haul experience.
• Must have a current state issued CDL Class A Driver's License.
• 1-3 years of rigging and commercial driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Assists the crane operator in the proper set-up of the equipment.
• Assists in maintenance of the crane and accessory equipment (trucks, trailers, etc.).
• Performs proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load.
• Uses proper hand signals during crane operations.
• Secures equipment to the trailer before operating the truck.
• Inspects truck and trailer and submits inspection report to supervisor.
• Reports mechanical defects in writing to shop technician or supervisor.
• Monitors inventory of chains, boomer, and straps; reports missing equipment.
• Documents and reports maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Cleans and inspects equipment in shop and yard; maintains cleanliness of shop and break area.
