Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an experienced crane operator for our active construction site in Texas. You will operate a crane and hoist, interpret signals, and follow written instructions to move and place heavy materials.

Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe operations around other crew and utilities. You must have prior experience with concrete, sheet, or pipe piles, maintain certifications, and adhere to project rules, including punctuality

Qualifications

• Experience operating cranes and piling equipment.
• Maintain current crane certifications and safety training.
• Ability to read gauges and follow signals and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane and hoist per verbal, hand signal, and written instructions.
• Inspect crane and piling equipment daily for defects or malfunctions.
• Lift and place machinery and other objects at construction sites.
• Maintain and service equipment, perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Observe ground markings and signals to move material safely.
• Read and understand owner manuals and complete machine inspections.
• Uphold project rules, punctuality, and dependable attendance.
• Have prior experience driving concrete, sheet, and/or pipe piles.
• Safely operate crane during assembly of crane and piling equipment.
• Maintain current certifications and knowledge of pile hoisting speed.
