Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced crane operator to support overhead crane operations at our sites in the United States. In this role you will operate traveling or stationary overhead cranes to lift, move, and position loads such as machinery and equipment.

You will observe load hookup safety, control crane speed and direction according to instructions, and perform routine maintenance. The job requires at least 4 years in industrial construction/maintenance and a valid crane operator

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
• Crane operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Observes load hookup and determines safety of load
• Manipulates or depresses crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions
• Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism
• Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions
• May attach load to hook or another crane accessory prior to operating crane

Position Summary

Operate traveling or stationary overhead crane to life, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and solid or bulk materials
