Job summary

Gray’s Tree Service in central Alabama is seeking skilled Crane Operators to join our growing team. You will operate cranes and related equipment to assist with tree removal and debris handling at various job sites.

This role requires a valid CDL, experience operating cranes (preferably in tree care), and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, with every other Saturday. We offer competitive pay and strong opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Experience operating cranes, preferably in tree care or a related field.
• Ability to operate manual crane controls.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work every other Saturday as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and related equipment to assist with tree removal and debris handling.
• Drive company vehicles, including grapple trucks, between job locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading tree debris and other materials.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to ensure safety and efficiency on every job.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude with customers and team members.
• Be available to work Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, and every other Saturday as scheduled.
