Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking Crane Operators to operate one or more cranes, moving heavy equipment across locations and elevations. The role requires operating small to large hydraulic cranes with strong focus on safety, load and lift planning, and equipment inspection.

Qualified candidates will have NCCCO certification, 5+ years’ crane experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with a signaler and follow safety protocols. Rotation schedules and field conditions apply.

Qualifications

  • Must have NCCCO credentials for the appropriate type of crane and current Crane Operator physical.
  • Must have 5+ years’ experience as a Crane Operator.
  • Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet a motor vehicle records check.
  • Must have all required tools.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Operate various construction Cranes to move equipment and materials.
  • Plan operational lifts.
  • Inspect equipment.
  • Ensure safety of operating the equipment.
  • May follow signal directions from a signaler in equipment operations.
  • Access area of operations for safety issues and planning of equipment operations.
