Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Crane Operator to operate stationary or traveling cranes for lifting, moving and positioning heavy loads at industrial sites. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards and proper rigging practices.

Responsibilities include crane operation under supervision, safety inspections, completing paperwork, and maintaining NCCCO certifications. Excellent hand–eye coordination and attention to detail are essential for successful performance in this role.

Qualifications

• 5 years of operating equipment in an industrial setting.
• Certification in NCCCO or NCCER is required.
• State issued Driver’s License and TWIC Card are required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane under general supervision.
• Inspect crane for safety issues daily and identify malfunctioning parts.
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries and related paperwork.
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or loads at construction sites.
• Maintain current NCCCO certifications to meet regulations.
• Follow signals from the rigger and communicate clearly during lifts.
