Job summary

Alliance Exterior Construction seeks a skilled Crane Operator with a CDL to support safe lifting operations on commercial construction sites in the Baltimore region. You will operate mobile cranes to move roofing, glazing, and façade materials with precision, following strict safety and load-handling procedures.

The role requires 2+ years of crane experience on construction sites, knowledge of load charts, and adherence to DOT and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license required.
• Minimum 2 years of crane operation on construction sites.
• Knowledge of load charts, rigging practices, and signaling.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Experience with roofing, glazing, or cladding materials preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting preferred.
• OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic truck cranes and/or boom trucks in accordance with manufacturer instructions and OSHA/ANSI standards.
• Coordinate daily activities to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain accurate logbooks and maintenance records.
• Set up, level, and secure cranes before lifting operations.
• Comply with all DOT regulations for vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Assist with rigging and material handling when not operating equipment.
• Report any safety concerns, near misses, or equipment issues immediately.
• Support company safety culture and attend toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator with a CDL to join our team and support safe and efficient lifting operations on job sites across the region. The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating mobile cranes to move, lift, and position roofing, glass, and façade materials on commercial construction projects. This role requires precision, strong situational awareness, and strict adherence to safety protocols and load handling procedures.
