Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks Crane Operators for a project in De Soto, KS. Candidates must have a NCCCO in fixed cab. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.

Responsibilities include safe crane operation, JSA and lift planning, and coordination with riggers and truck drivers on site, with strict adherence to DOT and PPE policies and long on-site shifts.

Qualifications

• NCCCO Certification TLL and TSS mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable crane operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete JSA’s and lift plans.
• Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, ensure PPE compliance, and prepare for duties.
• Perform safety checks on equipment per procedures and policy.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Operate cranes in a safe manner.
• Operate 190 ton cranes; may operate Hydraulic and All Terrain Cranes.
• Maintain logbook, ELDs and comply with Hours of Service and DOT requirements for CDL drivers.
• Collaborate with Riggers and Truck Drivers to hoist materials and loads using signals.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
