Butech Bliss Inc. is seeking a Crane Operator to operate overhead cranes, perform pre‑op inspections, and attach lifting gear as required.

The role requires following instructions under limited supervision and adhering to OSHA safety standards within a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of crane operating experience, knowledge of standard hand signals, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Qualifications

• 1 year work experience as an overhead crane operator.
• Knowledge of USA Standard hand signals.
• Lift/push/pull 50 lbs frequently.
• Work at heights above 12’.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

The Crane Operator-Laborer will:

• Must be technically proficient in tasks, work processes, and safe equipment operation.
• Select and attach to load proper lifting gear to safely and efficiently perform duties of crane operation.
• Participate in continuous practical training of less experienced crane operators
• Demonstrates the ability to apply practices which satisfy regulatory requirements and industry wide established guidelines or standards.
• Conducts daily pre-operational inspection of cranes identifying maintenance needs.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and work with limited supervision.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of equipment used in crane/rigging operations.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and utilize load charts.
• Utilizes required personal protective equipment [PPE] as per OSHA standards.
• Must be able to respond to verbal and audible sounds/commands.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos.
• Must be able to write simple correspondence.
• Must comply with company, federal, state, and local safety and environmental rules andregulations .

Strong candidates for this position will meet the following expectations:

• 1 year work experience as an overhead crane operator
• Knowledge of USA Standard hand signals
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb and balance, stoop, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
• Ability to turn head from side to side and about the vertical axis.
• Ability to turn body at the waist from side to side and about the vertical axis.
• Lift/push/pull 50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to work at heights above 12’.
• Ability to utilize personal protective equipment safely per OSHA standards.
• Able to respond to verbal and audible sounds/commands.
• Able to utilize adequate visual skills.
