Position Title: Crane Operator

Wage: $17.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift

Hours: 2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 12:30am
3rd Shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Select material as indicated by production order
• Raise, lower, and rotate boom or load by sight or signals from helper
• Inspect crane daily for defects and notify maintenance
• Unload and store materials from carriers and railcars
• Keep saw and blaster operators' line clear
• Stack and package neatly, following special instructions
• Verify size, quantity, color code, and special instructions
• Ensure all outgoing materials have a color code and are tagged
• Complete orders by recording shipped quantities, creating backorders, and staging materials according to color codes
• Follow all special instructions on production orders

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Must have good job tenure and crane experience
• Ability to read a tape measure

Work Environment:

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional wet/humid conditions, high places, and loud noise levels.
