Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Crane Operator in Pineville, LA. You will safely operate cranes to move heavy materials, inspect equipment, and follow safety standards to support production.

This full-time role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Preferred candidates hold NCCCO/NCCER crane certification and a high school diploma, with strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current NCCCO or NCCER Crane Certification preferred.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical Examination.
• Previous crane operation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate cranes and lifting equipment to move heavy materials and equipment.
• Determine load weights and ensure lifts remain within safe operating capacities.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report or repair minor mechanical issues.
• Inspect and maintain cables, hooks, pulleys, and lifting accessories.
• Load and unload trucks while following established safety procedures.
• Read work schedules and prioritize material movement to support production.
• Work closely with team members to complete lifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
