Job summary

The ProLift Rigging Company is seeking a PLR Crane Operator to provide lifting and hoisting services, including crane setup, inspections, rigging, and operation.

You will assemble and connect rigging, control movements in tight spaces, and ensure safety while coordinating with现场 crew on loading plans and material handling. Prior rigging and crane experience is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly and follow instructions.
• Ability to assess risk and adhere to safety protocols.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as required.
• CDL Class A/B is preferred and TWIC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects loads to rigging and prepares for movement with hand/power tools.
• Controls crane movements in confined spaces and verifies safety of rigging.
• Dismantles, maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
• Signals or directs workers during hoisting to ensure safety.

JOB SUMMARY

The PLR Crane Operator is responsible for providing lifting and hoisting services to customers by performing crane setup, pre-operation inspection, rigging, and crane operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear
• Attaches load to rigging to provide support or prepare for moving using hand and power tools.
• Connects pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Cleans and dresses machine and surfaces of parts
• Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces
• Dismantles maintains, and stores rigging equipment
• Manipulates rigging lines and hoist to move or support materials, steel, concrete, etc.
• Selects gear, shackles, and cables according to load size, facilities, and work schedule.
• Signals or gives verbal directions to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure the safety of workers and materials.
• Tests rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting or lifting.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Ability to respectfully confront people when needed and lead through example.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors
