Job description

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring for a CRANE OPERATOR position in the La Porte, Texas area:

Job Title: Crane Operator

• 4+ years of experience with 10+ ton cranes, OT
• NCCCO and RIGGING CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
• Experience with fixed and swing cab cranes, specifically Tadano 130 Ton and 20 Ton Broderson Picker
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to operate other equipment as needed
• Willingness to work overtime, call-outs, and in other craft areas

Minimum Requirements:

• Equipment Operator training and certification from NCCCO (TSS and TLL)
• At least three (3) years of certified experience operating both large and small cranes in an industrial environment
• Additional skills and knowledge as needed

Job Duties:

• Operate stationary or mobile cranes to lift and move machinery and large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities
• Control crane movements safely and effectively based on signals or commands
• Conduct daily safety inspections of the crane
• Rig loads according to load charts and manufacturer guidelines
• Follow safety regulations, site requirements, and company policies
• Maintain safety awareness at all times
• Perform additional duties as assigned
