Job summary

Resolve Marine Group is seeking a Crane Mechanic to maintain and repair cranes and related equipment, ensuring safety and reliability across vessels and facilities. You will develop maintenance schedules, perform inspections, diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues, and keep detailed service records.

The role requires physical work, lifting up to 75 pounds, and adherence to OSHA/ANSI standards in a fast-paced marine environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical or associate degree in electrical engineering, electronics, diesel mechanics or heavy equipment mechanics preferred.
• 5-7 years of mechanic or oiler experience.
• Valid driver’s license and/or passport.
• TWIC or be able to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Resolve’s commitment to safety.

• Determine overall condition of machines through inspections.
• Diagnose issues with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Restore equipment to working order.
• Exhibit positive and effective interaction with other Resolve associates, vendors, and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work performed.
• Physical effort and dexterity is required, lifting up to 75 pounds, including service-related tools.
• Be familiar with the compliance requirements for OSHA, ANSI, and all local, state, and federal regulation.

Education

Brief Description

The Crane Mechanic performs all maintenance checks and fixes any and all mechanical problems that arise. The Crane Mechanic must be able to develop and maintain maintenance schedules and keep excellent repair records.

This position reports to the Yard Foreman and the Facility Manager.

Position Responsibilities

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Technical or associate degree in electrical engineering, electronics, diesel mechanics or heavy equipment mechanics, preferred.
