Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc. is seeking a Technician to maintain and repair cranes, including routine maintenance and on-site troubleshooting at customer locations. The role requires being on-call, working after hours, and responding to weekend service needs as required to meet customer demands.

The position emphasizes safety in a 24/7 service environment with travel to job sites and collaboration with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Commitment to safe working and driving practices.
• Willingness to work off the ground at various heights.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate well and work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after-hours services as required.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes at customer sites.
• Perform OSHA crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule daily work.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely; notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Attend trainings and participate in the 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned.
