AMERICRANE & EQUIPMENT INC is seeking a Crane & Equipment Repair Technician with expertise in hydraulics and electrical diagnostics to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mobile cranes, boom trucks, and heavy handling equipment. The role demands complex hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting to keep customer equipment operating safely and in compliance.

The position emphasizes diagnostics, repairs, and safety, with a requirement to work with own basic hand tools and power tools.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of heavy equipment/mobile crane repair experience.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics and use digital multimeters.
• Prior factory or brand-specific training from major manufacturers is desirable.
• Ability to work at heights on crane booms and lift heavy components safely.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, structural, and control system faults on mobile cranes and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose 12V/24V DC electrical systems, read wiring schematics, and service ECMs or LMI.
• Inspect and rebuild high-pressure hydraulic pumps, valves, and cylinders.
• Conduct routine safety and compliance inspections to meet OSHA/ANSI crane standards.
• Tools: must supply their own basic hand tools and power tools.
