Job summary

Nucor is seeking a Crane Electrical Maintenance teammate for our West Virginia steel mill. The role focuses on safe, preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems across steel mill equipment, with weekend, holiday, rotating shifts, and overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical theory knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot 480V motors and controls. Prior steel mill experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' industrial maintenance experience.
• Fundamental Electrical Theory knowledge.
• Experience Troubleshooting 480V Motors and Controls.

Responsibilities

• Propose and implement safety-focused maintenance solutions for steelmaking equipment.
• Perform electrical and electronic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Work with PLCs, instrumentation, VFDs, motors and control systems.
• Train teammates on new equipment or modifications.
