Job summary

National Trench Safety seeks a Class A CDL driver with crane certification to deliver and pick up trench shoring and plates to customer sites in Ventura, CA. The role requires operating a truck-mounted crane, adhering to all DOT/FMCSR safety policies, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.

The candidate must be able to meet safety requirements, perform vehicle inspections, and comply with drug/alcohol policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license issued by the DMV.
• Crane Certification (NCCCO) preferred.
• Ability to operate truck-mounted crane safely.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
• Deliver and pickup trench shoring and plates to job sites with multiple loads daily.
• Maintain driver HOS logs and vehicle inspections.
• Secure loads per DOT and company policies and report incidents.
• Comply with drug/alcohol testing and safety requirements at all times.
• Provide training or answer customer questions on safe operations of shoring equipment.
